So on a whim of reading popcity I saw that this Band/DJ set called MEN would be playing at the Warhol on Wednesday. One kid looked like the guy from Le Tigre and after a little wikipedia and myspace (shudder) research, I found out this IS le Tigre minus one member who now just collaborates. The concert was awesome, outside, and a FREAKSHOW. So much good people watching. I would like to personally thank you: shortshorts, flailer, green leopard leotard, smelly kid, angry lesbian (x9), 75 year old man, and Chester A. Arthur; you really made the experience that much more enjoyable.
The music is great, quite dancable with surprisingly witty lyrics. That being said, its not for everyone. If you just had a hip replaced or are not ready to be happy and jump around, don't download.
One upbeat more indie DJ-ish material and then a more mellow band based number.
